CreditLiteracyProject.com is operated under agreement with SuccessRoadMapPress, LLC and/or its affiliates (“CLP”, “SRMP”, “We” or “Us”). CLP is strongly committed to protecting your privacy and providing a safe online experience for all our users. This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) discusses the personally identifying information (“PII”) and personal information (“PI”) that we collect about you through CLP’s website, which includes all CreditLiteracyProject.com posts and videos and other services we provide on the website (“Site”). By using CLP Site you agree to these conditions, and acknowledge that you have read the policy.

What information do we collect?
Traffic statistics:
We use Google Analytics to see how visitors are using CreditLiteracyProject.com. Google Analytics reports traffic patterns anonymously. No personally identifiable information is collected for this purpose.

Information in Public Areas of the Site:
Please keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily provide information in public areas of the Site, that information can be viewed and possibly used by others. We therefore advise users not to disclose contact information, including phone number, email address, street address or instant messenger address (within these public areas) that they do not wish to share. We are not responsible for PII you choose to submit in these public areas.
Collection of Information by Third Parties and Non-Affiliated Third Parties:

We may host a promotion, sweepstake, or contest on the Site. You may be asked to provide PII or permit the transfer to a third party of your PII in connection with such promotion, sweepstake or contest. Information you explicitly provide by keying it into the Site. Typical information used in the course of visiting a website such as traffic analytics, this is information not explicitly provided by you, but standard information that passed when visiting a website, including this Site.
How Does CLP Use The Information Collected?
We may use information you provide to interact with you by sending you posts you have subscribed to, reply to comments, you may be notified of comments to your comments, email or to contact you in general regarding an order you have placed or information you have requested.
We use personal information for purposes of administering and expanding our business activities, providing customer service and making available other products and services to our customers and prospective customers. Information we collect may be used to notify you about important changes to this website, new services and special offers you may find valuable. You may notify us you do not wish to receive these offers by clicking the unsubscribe link contained in each such email or by following unsubscribe instructions in the footer of the email.
Does CLP Disclose Any Information to Outside Parties?
Your information is not shared with or sold to other organizations for commercial purposes. Some circumstances in which information may be shared:
As required by law. If we receive a warrant or subpoena from a law enforcement agency or court of law that has jurisdiction over us we will respond appropriately.
Third party vendors utilized to make a purchase through the shopping cart, which may include PayPal, your credit or debit card issuer or your bank if utilizing an electronic check, money transfer or a physical check.
Communications utilizing a third party to carry out said communication may include email domain, POP address, hosting, plugins, widgets and standard technology used for regular website functions.
How do we protect your information?
CLP takes reasonable precautions to protect the security of our users’ information. We have physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to help safeguard, prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security, and correctly use your information. However, neither people nor security systems are foolproof, including encryption systems. In addition, people can commit intentional crimes, make mistakes or fail to follow policies. Therefore, while we use reasonable efforts to protect your PII, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
We encourage you to take steps to protect your information by not passing sensitive information, such as making a purchase, to the Site in a public place that may not be secure.
What About Links to Other Sites?
The Site may contain links to other sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage you to be aware when you leave our Site and to read the privacy statements of every web site that collects your PII. This Policy applies only to information collected by the Site.
What Does CLP do When This Privacy Policy Changes?
The latest effective date is located at the top of the Privacy page. We reserve the right to change the privacy policy at any time we deem necessary. Non-material changes and clarifications will take effect immediately. If we make non-material changes, we will indicate at the top of this page the revised policy’s new effective date. If we make material changes that impact you individually, we will attempt to notify you by email or through notice on the home page of the Site, and will also indicate so at the top of this page. The material changes will take effect 30 days after such notice. We encourage you to refer to this Policy at least every 30 days to check for material changes to this Policy.
Does CLP Transfer Information Overseas?
Your PII may be transferred outside of the United States. Any transfer of your PII is done in circumstances ensuring that your data is processed only in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Does CLP Abide by Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) – 15 U.S. Code Section 6501?
Yes. The goal of COPPA is to place parents in control over what information is collected from their young children online. With limited exceptions, COPPA and the related FTC Rule require operators of commercial web sites and online services to provide notice and get verifiable parental consent before collecting personal information from children under the age of 13.
This Site is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. CLP targets its Services and this Site to adults and not to children under 13.

Does CLP Abide by California Law – Online Privacy Protection Act of 2003 – California Business and Professions Code sections 22575-22579?
Yes. This law requires operators of commercial web sites or online services that collect personal information on California residents through a web site to conspicuously post a privacy policy on the site and to comply with its policy. The privacy policy must, among other things, identify the categories of personally identifiable information collected about site visitors and the categories of third parties with whom the operator may share the information. The privacy policy must also provide information on the operator’s online tracking practices. An operator is in violation for failure to post a policy within 30 days of being notified of noncompliance, or if the operator either knowingly and willfully or negligently and materially fails to comply with the provisions of its policy. This law takes effect July 1, 2004.
Non-Public Personal Information:
Non-public information is shared by you voluntarily during the course of visiting the Site; it is your choice to share this information. The Privacy Policy applies to public and non-public information. We will always do our best to protect your information whether it is public or non-public.

We may employ services or individuals to perform functions on our behalf. This Privacy Policy applies to mobile applications on phones, tablets, pads, pods, watches, laptops, and any other device used to view the Site or any app related to the Site or CLP.

We do employ social media widgets within the Site to make interaction simple, it is your choice to use social media sharing or posting on the Site. It is not necessary to utilize social media on the Site.
Jurisdiction:
CLP is located in Tempe, Arizona, USA, all laws, statutes, codes and acts of the State of Arizona and the United States of America apply.
Opting Out:
You may opt-out of receiving communications from us by modifying your subscription or choosing the opt-out feature in the communication received.
